Date: Monday, May 24th, 2021

Clinerion will be the focus of a case study for students from the IMD business school, Lausanne, Switzerland.

The Brief

A mini case competition for students to explore the changing role of data in healthcare, what are the logistical and ethical challenges in using this data, how can data be used to improve society, and how this data is changing the industry and creating new career opportunities. The case will center around local health data company, Clinerion, for students to have a tangible example, and judges will include industry leaders across the sector.

Students will be given one week to review data and prepare the case. The goal will be to understand and identify the insights that can be gained from the data (e.g. prediction of COVID-19 trends in Europe) – MBA teams will then recommend how governments and health companies can use these insights to address trends, suggest a business case for how Clinerion can capitalize on this data, and address the ethical concerns of who should own, access and use this type of data.
