What did you dream of as a job when you were younger?
When I was young, I always admired reading mystery novels (my favourite was Nancy Drew) and dreamed of becoming a detective like her. 😉

How did you end up in the job you have now
Being gifted with analytical skills, I was always fascinated with technology and became further motivated with the introduction of mobile phones and laptops in 2000-era. My career journey got a definite break when I got placed in a reputable software company where I was introduced to versatile technical, leadership and analytical opportunities in the software engineering field .There has been no looking back since then 😊

What would you want to become now, if you could start from zero?
I am extremely happy with the career path I have chosen and have no regrets!  However when given a chance to start over again, I would pursue my childhood dream together with my acquired career skills  ⇒ e.g. to be a computer forensic investigator 😊

What did you dream of as a job when you were younger?
The very first job aspiration I remember was to become a train driver and conductor/ticket inspector in one. That was when I was around 4 or 5 years old. My argument for this job, according to my parents: “it is huge and loud, you can get everywhere and you can talk to people all day.” Other than that, I wanted to become a florist (so I could legally pick the flowers in the gardens), or a marine biologist.

How did you end up in the job you have now?
After school, I started to study mathematics and German to become a teacher. But I was not happy with this and ended it after 1 semester. Then I went for several internships – with architects, carpenters … In parallel, I also worked in gastronomy. – and I got the idea to study Business and Economics to get a Master’s degree in Event Management. During my Bachelor’s, I learnt about Human Resources – and got hooked by the combination of numbers, people and psychology. So my Master's is in Human Resources … After I finished university, I immediately started additional education in psychology (transactional analysis). And currently, I am getting trained as trainer in adult education.

What would you want to become now, if you could start from zero?
I am very happy where I am now. But if I had to choose something else, I guess I would still not be happy with only one education. Because the more you know, the more you can share and support others. I would likely be a teacher, having a restaurant and coach people at my bar 😉 So supporting people in their development - just like now.

What did you dream of as a job when you were younger?
To become a Flight Attendant sounded very attractive early days in my youth but then I lost interest as I could not imagining flying all the time. I finally found my right path in the administrative world. I started my Business Administration education, doing some further education as well as learning other languages, dreaming one day to work in an International company in the administrative area ... and now I can proudly say: Goal achieved!

How did you end up in the job you have now?
My work started as a temporary employee. But thanks to my former boss (who was a great inspiration and an excellent teacher), I was given the opportunity to change my status from temporary to permanent at Clinerion.

What would you want to become now, if you could start from zero?
Well, happily, I am where I want to be. I have my lovely family, great job, terrific colleagues and wonderful friends.

What did you dream of as a job when you were younger?
I have always had a broad interest in very different professions, be it a criminal investigator to solve crimes or a volunteer to live on the Mars … My main drive was always to find a combination of work and being engaged with people every day, and doing good for people, with what I do.

What would you want to become now, if you could start from zero?
I would only dive in deeper in the ocean I am now in.
